Tamarindos Bistró trabaja una cocina fresca y ecológica, de raíz española y muy atenta al producto de Lanzarote. La casa se caracteriza por utilizar ingredientes ecológicos y bebidas de la isla, con opciones veganas y vegetarianas junto a pescados, carnes y otros platos de temporada. También suele haber propuestas fuera de carta, así que merece la pena preguntar qué recomiendan ese día.
La paella vegana tiene fama propia en Lanzarote, y las croquetas son de esas cosas que se piden sin mirar la carta. Los fines de semana preparan brunch vegano y brunch convencional; además, hay pan y platos sin gluten si se avisa con tiempo. Tampoco falta el tapeo: la tapa de pollo al ajillo con mermelada de cebolla tiene sus fieles. Para beber y terminar, dos apuestas seguras son la limonada de la casa y el crème brûlée.
Se come bajo la pérgola, junto a la piscina. Quien consuma en el establecimiento puede disfrutarla, de modo que el almuerzo puede venir con baño incluido.

Das Tamarindos Bistró steht für eine frische, ökologische Küche mit spanischen Wurzeln und einem besonderen Gespür für die Produkte Lanzarotes. Verarbeitet werden Bio-Zutaten und Getränke von der Insel; neben veganen und vegetarischen Gerichten stehen auch Fisch, Fleisch und weitere saisonale Speisen zur Auswahl. Häufig gibt es zusätzliche Tagesempfehlungen, die nicht auf der Karte stehen — es lohnt sich also, nach der Empfehlung des Tages zu fragen.
Die vegane Paella hat sich auf Lanzarote längst einen Namen gemacht, und die Kroketten gehören zu den Gerichten, die man am besten gleich mitbestellt. Am Wochenende bietet das Bistro sowohl einen veganen als auch einen klassischen Brunch an; glutenfreies Brot und glutenfreie Gerichte sind nach vorheriger Anmeldung ebenfalls erhältlich. Auch Tapas dürfen nicht fehlen: Das Knoblauchhähnchen mit Zwiebelmarmelade hat viele Stammgäste. Die hausgemachte Limonade und die crème brûlée sind verlässliche Empfehlungen für Getränk und Dessert.
